The seeds of DTWN were planted in the soil of frustration …a frustration shared by so many advisors. Traditional wealth management firms - whether wire-houses, regional brokerages, or platform custodians - too often felt like the “same old, same old.”
Despite new and seemingly different independent structures, we saw a deeper sameness: sales-driven cultures, transactional mindsets, and an institutional focus that left little room for individual creativity or meaningful client relationships.
We strained to serve clients within systems that prioritized the firm over the advisor and over the client. We searched for platforms that truly felt different but found that most were simply variations on the same theme.
We were also uninspired by commoditized services, uninspiring brands, and bureaucratic models designed to maximize institutional profit rather than advisor success.
So, we built DTWN. And we’re still building it—a firm designed to help advisors thrive as entrepreneurs, serve clients with artistry, and take pride in a brand that exudes excellence and creativity.
